THC-P (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) is a cannabinoid found naturally in very small amounts in the cannabis plant. It was identified by Italian researchers in 2019 and has a chemical structure similar to traditional THC (Δ9-THC), but with a longer side chain.
This structural difference means that THC-P has a significantly higher affinity for the CB1 receptors of the endocannabinoid system, which has led some laboratory studies to suggest that it may be more potent than conventional THC.
